Across our 20,000+ hectares (50,000 acres) of free-range land in La Pampa, buffalo roam in small herds, usually near waterholes and grassy plains.
The main hunting method is Spot & Stalk (on foot), tracking signs, footprints, and trails until locating the dominant bull.
In some cases, strategic blind hunts (ambushes) are also used.
Their tremendous power and endurance require careful approaches and precise shooting with high-caliber rifles.
Shots are typically taken between 80 and 120 meters, demanding accuracy and nerves of steel.

When Is the Water Buffalo Season in Argentina?
The Water Buffalo high season runs from March to July, when animals are most active and visible.
From August to February, the mid-season continues to offer opportunities, although buffalo tend to be more cautious during the warmer months.
