Hunting La Paz was born in the early 2000s on a family-owned ranch in La Pampa, Argentina.
Its founder, Ricardo Ruiz, began managing the local wildlife driven by his passion for hunting and the countryside. Over time, he discovered the incredible hunting potential of the region thanks to the abundance of red deer, a species introduced to Argentina by Pedro Luro in 1906.

The project reached a new level when international hunters began to arrive — bringing with them the need to professionalize the operation. A few years later, Manuel Ruiz, Ricardo’s son, joined the lodge to contribute his vision for growth and help consolidate an international-standard hunting experience.
